The Mermaid Entertainment & Event Center
Ceremony and Reception will be held at the Mermaid Entertainment and Event Center in Mounds View, MN. The ceremony will be in the Coral Bay Ballroom and the reception will be held in the Atlantis Ballroom (picture at left).
I am very excited about this venue and the options it holds for me. I love the Atlantis Ballroom as is and don't feel that I need to do much decorating, aside from centerpieces. The Coral Bay ballroom already has tulle and twinkling lights draped from the ceiling, and is gorgeous as well!
I'm excited about the menu for the reception as well.
-Tossed Green Salad with choice of dressing
-Grilled Chicken breast with marsala sauce
-Walnut green beans
-Baby red roasted potatoes
They are also giving us so much for little to no cost!!
-Free bridal suite with whirpool for Russ and I the night of the reception
-Free room for rehearsal and rehearsal dinner
-Free room for gift opening the next day (not sure if we'll take advantage of this)
-Free colored linen napkins
-no room rental fee for the reception by meeting the food & beverage minimum (which will be no problem)
-no bar fee, bartender fee, bar set-up fee
-Free butler serving of Hrs D'oeuvres and champagne toast
